In 2007 the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery conducted its 'Procedural Survey'. Data from a five year survey shows that the average age of cosmetic surgery patients undergoing one of the ten most popular invasive surgeries has risen by approximately three years to slightly above 42. Interestingly the average age for patients undergoing non invasive procedures is also a smidge above 42.
And what procedures are proving most popular? Well when it comes to invasive surgery liposuction remains the number on choice, as it has been for all of this decade. Botox injections remain the most common non invasive cosmetic surgery procedure.
